Fredrik Lindén, 39, will be Director of Communications for Schibsted Sverige with responsibility for internal and external communications.

"This is part of our efforts to become even faster and to grow even stronger in the market," says Raoul Grünthal, CEO of Schibsted in Sweden. "The high pace of change, both within the Group and externally, imposes considerable demands on our joint communications, and in Fredrik Lindén we gain a force that is highly suited for driving that process."

"In a period of extreme change for Aftonbladet, Fredrik Lindén has demonstrated how communications of a modern media company should be run," says Jan Helin, Aftonbladet's publisher and Manager of the Publishing business area in Schibsted Sverige. "He has provided sharpness, speed and great integrity to make sure Aftonbladet is seen and heard in a positive way in the media industry and in the business community. The fact that he is now shouldering a broader responsibility is positive for Schibsted Sverige as a whole."
