Our media houses’ editorial reports

Aftenposten, Bergens Tidende, Stavanger Aftenblad and VG in Norway have now published their state-of the-art editorial annual reports for 2013.

Editor in Schibsted Media Group, Bernt Olufsen, is clear about the important part that each media house’s editorial report plays in increasing transparency with regards to our journalism and our methods.

“The editorial reports contribute to more openness not just about the success stories, but also the errors that our media houses commit. The result of more openness in media is increased confidence and credibility among our readers,” says Bernt Olufsen.

“The editorial reports that Aftenposten, Bergens Tidende, Stavanger Aftenblad and VG have published for 2013 are of an exceptional, world-class quality, and they have received great attention and interest in many European countries. My hope is that the rest of Schibsted’s media houses will make a similar effort to increase the public’s insight into their journalistic work.”

“I am also very pleased with initiatives such as Aftenposten and VG’s blogs that provide increased insight into how they work behind the walls of their respective media houses,” Olufsen says.
