Antoine Jouteau new General Manager in Leboncoin

Olivier Aizac steps down and Antoine Jouteau takes over as General Manager of leboncoin.fr. Aizac continues in Schibsted Media Group’s (SCM) management team, with responsibility for Latin America.

Deputy GM Alexandre Collinet and CTO Renaud Bruyeron will continue in Leboncoin’s management team together with Jouteau. Other senior profiles will also join the management team.

Antoine Jouteau (39), currently Deputy GM at Leboncoin, has been with the company for six years, with special focus on marketing and sales. Holding a Master’s degree in Marketing from University of Paris-Dauphine, Jouteau has a sound track record and leadership experience from large IT and telecommunications companies, including pagesjaunes.fr. He joined Leboncoin in February 2009 to head its marketing and business development.

“I am very pleased that we have developed such strong candidates internally in leboncoin.fr who as a natural consequence are now ready to take over the leadership of the company. That Antoine Jouteau and Alexandre Collinet are now taking over the helm together with Renaud Bruyeron feels right and safe for both Schibsted and leboncoin.fr,” says Terje Seljeseth, CEO of Schibsted Classified Media.

“I am honored to succeed Olivier Aizac. More than a boss, I’m taking over from a friend. We have shared an extraordinary adventure and an amazing entrepreneurial experience. leboncoin.fr owes a large part of its success to Olivier. Today, I’m ready to throw myself into new challenges and to make this successful company grow even further,” says Antoine Jouteau.

The current General Manager in leboncoin.fr Olivier Aizac steps down from Leboncoin but continues in SCM’s management group. Moving to Sao Paulo in Brazil, he will be in charge of the Latin American classifieds companies, including Mexico, Chile and Colombia. Aizac will also be on the board of the joint venture in Brazil together with Terje Seljeseth and Ragnar Korseth from Telenor.

“In just nine years, since the launch in 2006, leboncoin.fr has become a key digital player in France and a company with strong teams and strong culture. The success of leboncoin.fr has been a team effort and I am happy to leave the company in good hands, with Antoine and the rest of the management team taking over the leadership and continue this great story,” says Olivier Aizac.
