E24.se was launched on October 4, 2005, and immediately became the second largest business website in Sweden. It is run by a company jointly owned by Svenska Dagbladet (60%) and Aftonbladet (40%). E24.se is today the biggest business website in Sweden with more than 720,000 unique visitors every week. Beneath the E24 umbrella there are also several other successful sites: The personal finance site Pengar24.se, the stock market site Bors24.se and E24’s fund service Fond24.se.
Tasteline AB was acquired in 2005. It is the largest independent website in its genre in Sweden. Since its acquisition, it has made good progress, with ample growth in traffic and advertising income. In the spring of 2006, Tasteline was voted Sweden’s best website for food.
In January 2006, SvD.se and E24.se launched a new website for recruitment: Jobb24.se, which aspires to be Sweden’s leading website for helping companies, organisations and recruitment firms find qualified staff.
In February 2007, SvD Digitala Medier acquired the travel site minTur.se, one of Sweden’s most popular travel communities. MinTur has been integrated with SvD.se/Resor, but also continues under its own brand name.
