The Group’s media houses are the driving forces behind Schibsted’s development. Based on sound newspaper positions, the media houses have built strong brands and forged close ties with consumers. These provide clear competitive advantages when contents are to be offered in new channels – the Internet, mobile phones or live pictures.

The VG media house comprises Norway’s largest newspaper and VG.no, which has a strong position on the Internet. This media house is Norway’s largest publisher of news in printed and online versions.


Aftenposten publishes Norway’s largest morning newspaper. Aftenposten Aften is the leading city newspaper in Oslo. This media house also includes several of Norway’s leading websites - Aftenposten.no, FINN.no and forbruker.no.


Svenska Dagbladet is one of Sweden’s leading media houses and is a leader in both printed and online newspaper market developments.


This media house consists of Aftonbladet, which is the Nordic region’s biggest newspaper, and Aftonbladet.se, which is the Nordic region’s biggest provider of online news. In addition, the media house owns several other websites, for example sesam.se, prisjakt.nu and destination.se.

 



20 Minutes is the most-read newspaper in Switzerland, Spain and France. The 20 Minutes media houses are continuing to grow, both in their printed and online versions. 


Eesti Meedia is Estonia’s biggest media company, with operations in all media channels.
